Extreme Scene recently hosted 4 clients from Singapore for a long weekend adventure in Cape Town. On arrival we transferred them to Table Mountain where they completed a guided hike up the Platteklip Gorge to summit Table Mountain.
This isnt an easy hike and a good level of fitness is required. So well done to them seeing that they had only just arrived on a long flight from the East. They then went on to do a spine chilling abseil from Table Mountain. Not for those who have a fear of heights but definitely perfect for those who wish to conquer it. Then to finish the day we took them to Lions Head so that they could tandem paraglide into Camps Bay at sunset.
The next day it was a 2 hour quad biking adventure in Elgin which was partially unplanned but definitely one of their highlights. It so happened that the Grabouw wine festival was taking place on the same day so a visit to taste some of the wines to offer had to be included. On Sunday it was a scenic helicopter flight of the Cape Peninsula. Definitely something to include in your itinerary if budget allows for it. This flight offers a very unique view of areas in Cape Town normally only seen from land. With this not being enough we headed off to the skydive drop zone in Melkbos to finish the afternoon with a tandem skydive over one of the world’s most beautiful drop zones.
On Monday it was a very early start so that we could fit the shark cage diving Gansbaai in before they left. The early bird is always rewarded and they experienced these awesome Apex Predators from the safety of a shark cage. Wow! What and action packed weekend loaded with adventure and certainly enjoyed by our guests from Singapore.
Thanks for visiting us in Cape Town.
